Fort Defense itself is a fun enough if vanilla tower defense game, but the Atlantic DLC has a completely broken map (level 16) that can't be beat, even on the easy difficulty. The broken map introduces a boss that can only be damaged by artillery, but the boss is a flying machine, so the artillery towers can't attack it. D'oh. And since the DLC was released over 6 months ago, if the devs were going to fix it, it'd be fixed by now. So save your money. There are plenty of other tower defense games out there.. Recommended if you like the base game and don't mind a bit of game file editing.Atlantic Ocean is a proper DLC to the good but not great Fort Defense - new maps, a few new enemies and increasing difficulty. The only special thing is actually the root cause of the negative reviews - there's a mix-up in one of the resource files, and on Level 1-16 the game starts spawning proper bosses insted of the new Monitor unit. This is funny and challenging at first, then at wave 7, which features 20 and is conversely completely impossible, not so much.I'm not sure why the devs don't fix this - nevertheless, with the correction (described in the steam forum) the DLC is rather enjoyable.. Do not buy it. It's bugged and you cannot finish it..
